Why do voodoo spells cause people to go crazy?

I know that you’ve heard all the stories. Everyone has a story of how one of their cousins went crazy after an initiation. Someone else told me that they knew someone who lost all of their hair, after they’ve dibbled and dabbled in magic. Of course, the stories only get worse, as people tell me that they’ve lost loved ones because some charlatan sold them false promises. As result, many people are afraid of voodoo and casting voodoo spells. So in this short article, I am going to go over the reasons why people go crazy when dealing with magic and voodoo spells.

Mental illnesses such as schizophrenia are really a gift that isn’t recognized in Western society.

I have personal experience with bad voodoo. My mother was the unfortunate victim of a voodoo spell gone wrong. Family members say that she was cursed by a Santeria Priestess.  The priestess was a woman who was vying for the affection of my handsome, but very unfaithful father. As a result of this, my mother was hexed and diagnosed with schizophrenia, a disorder that she has had for most of her life. For a long period of time, I was so afraid of messing with the stuff. I kept asking myself, what if the same thing that happened to Mom, happens to me? Later in life, I decided to get some spiritual counseling. Now, I never told anyone about my mom, because of the shame and the stigma that is attached to mental illness. However, I felt that I could express myself to this teacher. What she said blew me away.

The people, who are considered schizophrenic today, would have been considered shamans in our ancestor’s day!

In my other article, How to do money spells that really work? I talk about the dangers of tapping into a system, or stream, that is more powerful than you. In that article, I talked about energy like a rollercoaster ride. We often have to trundled slowly to the top, to only plummet down at full speed. This process can have serious repercussions if we are not prepared, simply because the energy around us is faster than the energy that is stored within. This same concept happens with magic. Just imagine swimming in the ocean, looking up and seeing a gigantic wave. You can’t swim well enough or fast enough to get away. So all that you can do is hold your breath, allow the waves to crash over you, and hope that you’ll remerge fully intact. In most cases, this doesn’t happen. We get buried under the waves and pulled into the vast ocean, to never take a single breath again.

Energy moves in waves.

Energy moves in waves. However, you have to be powerful enough to swim with the waves. You will be buried alive if the waves are too strong and rigid, or if you try and swim against them. I’ve heard the horror stories of people going through initiations, to only come out screwed up. I’ve heard stories of people wanting to be healed, to only find that their condition has worsened. Why does this happen? People are not trained, or are too lazy to do the work that is involved with energy healing.  A great deal of priest and priestess are highly trained. This allows them to handle higher vibrations. In essence, these priest and priestess can ride those wild and rugged waves. Sadly, many people become ill or go mad, because the energy that they have inside of them was too weak for the energy that was being sent to them. People who practice magic understand the importance of being strong. The spirit can mount the strongest people. This is perhaps why a great deal of these practices requires initiations.  Even shamans go through rigorous initiations ceremonies to become powerful shamans. They do this so that they will be strong enough to handle different types of energies.

Schizophrenics are shamans who have not been properly trained.  Both men and women tend to be diagnosed with schizophrenia in their early twenties. While Western doctors believe that these people are suffering from a debilitating mental disease or disorder. Shamans believe that these people inherit much of their gifts at this age. This is the time when their third eye opens and when they become clairvoyant, or clairaudient, etc. However, the energy is so strong and sudden, that people can’t handle the sudden influx of voices and visions. This happens because we are cut off from nature. This also happens because we don’t always get the training necessary to be able to handle these spirits or energy.

There are dangers involved in meddling with things that you don’t understand. This is why it is important to work with energies that are relatively safe. I like to work with the energy of love. There are others who can work with more malignant energies. However, these people tend to either be desperate, brave, or highly trained. So if you’re looking to get into this practice, be sure to have a great mentor. Also, be sure that you’re getting stronger and stronger as you progress. Remember, the essence of magic and voodoo is love. If you approach magic from a place of love, you’ll have a very little chance of your magic going wrong.
